We are a small family company based for 6 years in Pennymoor near Tiverton and specialise in breeding Gloucester Old spot pigs to produce our sausages.
The pigs are brought on slowly and traditionally and fed on barley grown in the same village. They are out in the fields in the summer and in a large warm barn in family groups on straw in the winter months.
Our Gloucester Old Spot range is made from the whole pig from our own farm including prime cuts of leg,loin and shoulder while the flavoured sausages are outdoor reared pork from the Knightshayes Estate in Tiverton or locally sourced. We sell in the Tiverton Pannier Market on Tuesdays,Fridays and Saturdays ,from the farm and to local pubs and restaurants, with preserves and pickles from Tiverton,Cheese from the West country and tea and coffee from Miles.
As a company we aim to source all our produce as close to Tiverton as is possible and to trade in an ethical manner with our customers and suppliers. |
